I literally thought this book was based off Naruto when I saw the book on the floor.
I picked it up. "Oh, Uzumaki, cool hokage blond kid"

-drops book
-leave.

Finished reading this morning and it was great throughout. The Snail and Pregnant Women chapters were gnarly.

This shit gave me nightmares for weeks. Would never read again, 10/10. Still going to therapy to overcome spiral-phobia, can't look at Gurren Lagaan the same way ever again.

I stumbled upon Uzumaki in another horror manga-based video and I read the entire manga in one day. Holy shit, was it the most creepiest thing I ever read o.O It was downright fucked up but I couldn't turn away and I think I became a bit paranoid after that. Glad that I'm not alone on this.

The creepiest chapter for me was either the chapter with the snails or the pregnant women. Both chapters were fucked up, and the nightmarish imagery made it all the better.

I read Uzumaki when Manga Pod read it a while back for their podcast and, oh boy, it was so unsettling to read in the best possible way.  Like you, I also really appreciated how it eventually all came together in the end, and quite beautifully if I might add.  Absolutely loved it all and I always recommend it myself when anyone I know asks for something scary to read.  Definitely a must read horror manga. :)

I've never read a manga I'm more into american and european comics but I've seen pics of this manga in a buncha places online and always loved the look of it so I ordered it last night from amazon! can't wait to read it.
