Twice before the rebels were caught red handed. Being a vet doesn't make you any sort of expert. You are a vet.

It all smells mighty fishy to me. It's a shame when this kind of thing happens and you have to question, what's the truth.

Russia is a lot closer to the Middle East than we are. They should be allowed some level on influence, practically (as if it makes sense for us to give anyone permission to do anything, how sanctimonious). Iran is even closer, for all our mutual enmity.
So, like, realistically speaking we can't just prevent countries who are around each other from interacting, being friendly, or solving their own conflicts with their own troops. This is about natural resources & access, nothing more - which is fine, I'm happy to support our side, but pretending like it's about morality & human rights & how bad certain countries are versus others really gets my goat.

Being a veteran does not make you wise. This veteran is very clear about his geopolitical ambitions. He does not care however about the fall of the state, either in Iraq, Libya or Syria. We know about the results there and its undesirable overall. He is not informed about gas attacks by ISIS either, which there is proof of from the U.N. Independent International Commission and the kurds. Dont be fooled people. Do not go to war over this.
