Although the macbook makes more sense for me, I envy the touch screen and apple pencil support on the ipad, being able to do my maths, physics and chemistry work on notes on an ipad is just bliss with an apple pencil, really easy to save and file as well as not having to buy a bunch of notebooks that can get damaged and smudged and not easily as shareable to friends that need or to teachers for assignments

Great comparison video Noah‼️ I did not realize until last night that I have become a 100% iPad guy. I needed a very old document that I created on my old Dell laptop that I haven’t touched in years, I haven’t used a laptop 👩‍💻 of any kind since I got my iPad Pro back in 2016, it was not a good experience and it took me forever to find the documents and download it to my SSD I use with my iPad Pro. I really like my iPad Pro ‼️👍✅

I’m so confused because at first I wanted a iPad Air or a iPad Pro to use procreate and get creative, Adding a Apple Pencil and magic keyboard but the amount I’m spending I might as well buy a MacBook. #advice

In the past I preferred the iPad over the MacBook due to the cost of the software. Most Mac apps cost significantly more than the corresponding iPad app It is true that the Mac apps typically had much greater functionality to justify the cost, but I always went with the iPad app. With the ability to run iPad apps on the new MacBook Air, that problem may not be an issue anymore.

There is no comparison. I’ve been using iPad as a laptop since 2016, long before it became what it is - and it is still nothing as mind-blowing as the M1 in the MacBook Air. It brought me back to desktop computing. Truly remarkable.

I'm not an Apple guy (I do own AAPL shares though - major part of my portfolio), they make amazing products and their optimization is just next level. I am extremely excited about getting one of these products...or both (one for the wifey maybe?!...why not lol XD). Will be a tough decision now that the IPad Pro will come with an A14x and the new Macbook pros will come with M1x variants...this is the hard part lol. Anyways, Noah, great video man and keep it up! For work, it’s really painful to go all iPad. Tried so many times - iPad Pro 10.5, 11, 2020, mini 2 and 5, iPad Air 2.... lol. If you REALLY want to work then a computer, any, is 100% better. The tablet software is not a full blown desktop software and the working experience is kind of limited. So many compromises. Yes there are 1000s of apps on iPad but the work... its not quick. Enjoyable but not quick and straightforward.

Most things you notice are about the size. You should have compared a 12, 9 inch iPad with that 13 inch laptop
