I think it's pretty clear that root of unity extensions are cyclic, but I don't know where to go to find that radical extensions in general are cyclic.

Have you proved that if K/F is cyclic, it contains a root of unity? I.e. how do you ensure that there is the root you need?

6:00 What is the significance of alpha here? Is it ANY element of K, or do we have K=F(alpha)?
