As fans we should take a moment to appreciate having two different Batman in media. Back in the comic era, there were different authors putting out different versions of Batman at the same time. We are so lucky to witness that in times where media has evolved, we’re just witnessing it on the biggest screen instead of the comics

I think it was just miscommunication from Muschietti. I don't thinks it's "delayed" however there hasn't been much development as of yet so he probably has time to direct something beforehand. Him directing Clayface would be cool if Flanagan can't do it.

I'm Argentine and I watched the Andy interview live. The impression I got hearing him was that the schedule they might have had originally for the movie was stretched a bit so he'll be able to squeeze in a movie of his own prior to Batman

I have a sneaky feeling Either Gunn and Safran are making the decision to put Brave and the Bold into production now to make a release date of next year that Batman 2 just vacated because if they wait too long and let’s say Superman is a hit it would be weird to have two different Batman films in the same year. So I wonder if we are going to hear news Brave and the Bold is going into pre preproduction and Gunn is maybe helping write the script to get it ready faster because of Batman 2 being moved a year later and vacating that October 2026 date.
