I like how he describes both The Flash and Blue Beetle as “fantastic films” and with Shazam 2 and Aquaman 2 it’s just “those movies exist”.

I love how well Superman, Lanterns, Paradise Lost, and Brave and the Bold connect to each other from Superman being from space and than we see more of space in Lanterns and Paradise Lost having fierce warriors, which will also be a big part in Brave and the Bold.

Having the story move back-and-forth from animation to live-action is smart. Saves money, plus, you can take more risks. And DC has been stellar in the past with their animated movies.

I'm glad about DC Elseworlds. They can tell unlimited stories without needing to bother with continuity and more importantly it keeps thing fresh and interesting. Looking forward to more Elseworlds titles!

after diving deep into Guardians 3 and through discernment i feel like Gunn is going to define the Gods as those who see themselves as superior and obsessed with something that drives them on a rollercoaster of emotions but are ultimately the villains and the Monsters are those who find themselves with super abilities (biological abilities, enhanced or learned), could be in a process of learning how to deal with their situation but perhaps accidents occur and people fear them turning to hate on them for being different.

I love the chapter title "Gods and Monsters." I really like the cohesive nature to keep the animated voice-overs tied to film. The consistency is so important to keeping fans engaged in long-term storytelling.
