Clean Carburetor Harbor Freight 2 Stroke Generator

Easy fix to clean jet on Harbor Freight two stroke generator. Drop the bowl, clean the jet, fire it up!

This video was helpful in that it gave me enough confidence to pull the bowl. There seems to be no reason to remove the jet. Just get a a wire tie from a loaf of bread, take the paper off and use it to poke through the jet. Worked for me and now things are running fine. I used some spray carburetor cleaner to clean up the pushed out residue.

worked like a charm....the one on top was clogged also.I believe that's a metering orifice, not a jet but that is the first thing to check for sure.

will this work for mine it revs up and down in high speed but it runs fine in idle
