Mass Effect 2 Main menu theme

The theme that plays while on the Title Screen of Mass Effect 2, now in it's full and glorious length thanks to usk69!

I remember when I first bought this game, and this intro theme came on, couldn't move or breathe for about 30 seconds.  Just knew that it was gonna be epic.

This music still gives me chills.  ME2 may be my favorite video game of all time.

Always tear up at the beginning. Really felt like the characters in this were my family and that it was the best adventure I'd ever have.

I played the whole trilogy in one go, one after the other. Years after it came out, I didn't know the story at all, just that it was a really good game with lot of story and great game play.

The first game, it wasn't the most refined, but I could feel it had since of "awe" to it. Then the conversation with Vigil happened, it really struck a chord in me. I knew there was even more waiting after that moment(excluding the fact there are 3 games).

Then this came, not sure what to say, but the atmosphere, the scenery, the music, all just at the menu loading screen. There was something big at the end of this game I just knew it. Best ending to a game EVER.

Finally, the third, where it all ends. Yeah, the endings meh, but that citadel DLC really puts the cherry on top.

I loved ME3 but when this played at the end of ME2 it was just to epic, probably the best video game (or trilogy they all count as one) I have ever with Bioshock 2 following shortly.

...that feel when I was 16 and first loaded this menu in, after finishing ME1. Did not see the trailer, did not know nothing, except it is ME2 so it has to be great, and I KNEW something really wicked will await me.

12 years later, I still get the chills from this menu music.

i love how the first 30 seconds and the visuals just makes you feel like shepperd: " I probably wont make out of this alive, but fuck it ... I will make sure ill to see it trough the end"

This game...that unexpected opening. The whole plot, the missions, characters... everything was amazing about this game and the trilogy as a whole! Wish I could go back and experience it all over again like it was new.

I never knew what Mass Effect really was until about 10 days ago. I barely like the Sci-Fi genre nor I'm a big fan of RPG games. Having just finished Dead Space 2, I'm getting a bit more into Sci-Fi. Then I saw an ad of Mass Effect 3 in a game shop and thought why not give this game a try. But I thought if I'm ever going to start Mass Effect I'm going to start it from the beginning, so I started playing the first part and finished it today and now into Mass Effect 2 straight away! Amazing music!

The mass effect trilogy was the first game ever that made me cry. Played it when I was 12, and the ending of three made me cry simply because it reminded me of my dad who is in the military.
Approximately 10 years later, literally hearing every significant piece makes me cry.

This game had me at the title music. Those drums came in, and I knew I was in for something epic.

BioWare did not disappoint.

Every time I load up ME2, I have to atleast stay on the start up screen for 1 full cycle of the theme. It's just too good not to.
