I am a Bangladeshi. I feel like the country is empty now that Sheikh Hasina is gone. She has indeed done a lot for the country. The GDP growth rate was increasing every year. She constructed the metro rail in Dhaka. She constructed the Padma Bridge, a mega infrastructure. She constructed a road tunnel that goes under a river. She launched Bangabandhu Satellite on space. When the muslim minority in Myanmar were facing genocide, she gave refuge to them and told the world to give pressure to Myanmar. The world calls her Mother of Humanity. But still I cannot want Hasina to stay on power just because of her. We feel insecured in her regime. If anyone protest in street he or she gets headshot by the police. Even innocent small kids are killed. That's what she did in the final days of her regime before her fall.

The opposition parties had a role in assassinating Hasina's father and her 10 year old brother in cold blood. 21 members of her family were KILLED by them. I can understand why she is hesitant to have these parties gain too much power. It is a tragedy that the same parties forced her to flee her country for safety not once but twice. I DO NOT agree with her actions during the job-quota protests but I do believe her story is tragic😢
