Check out this menacing looking '67 Galaxie 500. Although it may not be super fast it definately is super cool! Powered by a '93 302ci sbf/4R70W trans with a big 6/71 huffer whining at 14lbs of boost it still manages to carry the 3600lb car into the 13's during a 500 mile drag weekend! #galaxie500 #fordmusclecars #dragweekend

I owned a 1967 Galaxy 500 fast back from 1970 to 1972. Same color as this one. Mine had 3 on the tree, overdrive, small block v8 and cherry bomb pipes. After reviving the engine those pipes would really pop.

Very nice, I love it!
I had a silver with black interior 67" Galaxie 500 XL in high school.
I sure wish I still had it now.

Very nice old 67 Ford Galaxie 2dr HT. I had one for my "turned 16" high school car. That was almost 50 years ago. It will always be special to me.

Man thats one beautiful 67 Ford Galaxie brother and that blown 302 Windsor V8 sure is a beast. What 90s Ford was that little 302 out of.

An uncle of mine had a '67 in black with red interior and I always loved the body style, almost like the Cadillacs of that year with the pointed nose.

I remember being driven to elementary school in my mom's 67' Galaxy. 😊

SWEET! BACK IN THE DAY DAD HAD A 65 FAIRLANE 289, 67 FAIRLANE 4 SPD 289, 66 GALAXY 289 AND A 69 F 100 CUSTOM CAB SB 302. NEEDLESS TO SAY WE COULD WORK ON A 289 OR 302 BLINDFOLDED. HE DEFINITELY BLED FORD BLUE. R.I.P.

Man. That’s a beautiful car! I love my 66. But that 67 grill is sweet.

Man that grey Fairlane was N/A and only ran 0.50 behind the blown Galaxie. Good race, impressive. Both absolutely beautiful.

That's a lot of mass for a 302. Cool! Still it's a very nice looking Galaxie, AFAIK, this was a 1 year body style. A girl down the street from me had a medium blue one and I've always liked this fastback model.

The 67 galaxie he needs to rebuild the motor a supercharged small block Ford to give you anywhere to 6 to 700 horsepower that car should be in the low 12s if not 11 second

Drag weekend was probably the funnest experience of my life. I had the red 79 F250 with no hood. Let me know if you got any footage of that.

I was dissappointed that it had a 302, vs a 390 or 428 fe

I just bought a '67 Galaxie Fastback with the 390 original factory motor and transmission...$6000! Body is great no dents most of the trim too. I'm gonna take some of it off actually. I wasn't a Ford guy until I bought this. It's a hoopty.

What is the car making at the tire? J mod that 4R and maybe gear it up a bit. 302 TW heads and 14 psi. Should be high 11 at least I would think. 3600 isn’t that heavy
