For anyone on the fence for ISS Vanguard, it's worth it. If you're into exploration (there's next to no combat in the game and it's all dice skill checks anyway) and SciFi then this is the perfect game. At least, it is for me. I don't want to table anything else, all I want to play is ISS lol

Alex, I don't know if you noticed, but you can "backdoor" back the Vindication All-in Archive Edition on the Unsettled pledge manager. Also, Vindication will ship separately and probably very soon (boats in December / delivery in Janruary)

Alex, thank you for compiling all of this research for us each week. I've got a video idea to propose and ask of you. Could you talk about the different genres of boardgames giving definitions for terms such as 4x, area control, bag building, etc.? When I first got into board gaming I really wanted a video like this but couldn't find one. There are still terms I don't know, like 4x which came up when talking about Last Light in this video. I think "Every Term New Board Gamers Need to Know" style of video would be helpful for anyone new to the hobby.

I'm glad you highlighted a few smaller games because my first reaction at that list was wondering how many thousands of dollars it would cost to back this lot. Even the base pledges of many here are ~200 with shipping.

I WISH I could finish my pledge to the Great Wall but it won’t even let me do that.. 😢 Alex, if you could put a note in with the gamefound team about making it more clear the difference between “pledged and paid” vs “placed and paid”. I clicked on it and saw the status and thought I was good and ended up missing completing my shipping info because I saw this and now I have to wait for them to reopen the Great Wall sometime next year 😭

Earth Under Siege is brilliant. There's an official TTS mod (which I've played a lot) so you can try before you buy. Arydia looks amazing. The designers (Cody, Ira and co) genuinely seem like lovely human beings - one of the nicest and friendliest KS comments sections you'll ever see. Also looking forward to playing the Great Wall and Unsettled 💛

The ISS Vanguard ship phase does seem a bit like work, if your job was the Captain of an interstellar starship! I imagine this is how Captain Kirk finishes his day - a glass of scotch and a whole lot of decisions to make about running the ship.

Just... Why Alex. Why do you hate my wallet. I went in on Wild Assent. I was not suppose to go in on Wild Assent. So many campaigns this fall/winter. Oathsworn, Tainted Grail, Deep Madness, Werewolf tomorrow. The list keeps going. Would like to find copies of Vampire Chapters and Isofarian Guards... Most importantly - Ato in a few weeks. ridiculously excited!

Thanks for the review. I think i saw you at pax unplugged yesterday...or at least i said "Hello, keep up the good work with your youtube channel!" to someone that looked like you. Almost all of these games look great and are right up my alley. I am not good at self discipline with supporting kickstarter campaign games so I'll be out of a lot of money soon.
