16:53 im glad you mentioned this, there is some serious cheese you can do with spear e in base defense. you can pull them into a room and lock them in it, preferably the servant room if the stars align. you can flank them and pull them away from the entrance and give your team an opening to hard engage while you stal and disrupt from behind. In a straight duel its bad tho

Nice one Timmah! RIP 9 weapons... My "z" keybind is my swapout keybind, replacing it with crossbow, sword and whip when different situations demand it. Feels so weird not having 9. Like that 1 more really rounded things out.

the #1 thing on your bars should be iframes and chase, even at iron tier slasher and greatsword is a must have. pistol too, but that comes later.
I rush slasher/greatsword asap in a new wipe, for the iframe and chase 2in1

I do understand the frustation of losing tools available due to the loss of a weapon slot. It does open up the theme of actual builds, loadouts and meaningful decisions more though. It also decreases the entry level for players into the pvp scene a bit etc.

Probably unpopular opinion, but a fact nonetheless. Having this much weapon versatility has made most of the magic and spells useless. I haven’t seen a single experienced PVP player using chaos bolt, or any ranged attacks spell other than ice lance for the stun. Spells and scholar builds are totally subpar in this meta. There is simply too much complexity and versatility afforded by the current weapon swapping mechanic. Forcing players who don’t spend days and days training in arena to have to master 8 weapons to compete is ridiculous. Not to mention it pigeon holes them into a certain style of play to be competitive, while making obsolete any other style of play.

Could you please share your key bindings with us? I'm struggling with the weapon swaps and that is why I usually use only 2-3, but basically as you mentioned in the video, mostly I do use only 1. I have a mouse with more buttons, but I'm using only spear on one button and a counter on the other one.

i feel like having anything over 1 2 and 3 it feels like too much of a stretch, i do have 2 side buttons but its hard for me to get comfortable with it + i love slashers and have been using a cyclone discharge build but i am still trying to get used to using other weapons together

honestly 5 weapons i would start with would probably be axe slasher spear greatsword pistol then adding whatever u are fighting often
