Taylor Swift is a legit great songwriter, I don't like her pop stuff but man, her acoustic / alternative / indie albums, Folklore and Evermore, are absolutely fantastic. She can sing and she can write. This cover is very cool (especially the "it's me, hi, I'm the problem, it's me" progression before the last chorus) and I'm sure Tommy recognizes her musicianship as well!

This is so gooood!!! I'm a huge metalhead and Taylor Swift fan, and I have been listening to Midnights non-stop since it came out. I realized it would sound great in metal and found this... I mostly listen to various metal and EDM genres but a few Taylor Swift songs are an occasional guilty pleasure of mine 🤣 she's just so damn catchy to the point where if you hate it, your ears are probably broken lol.

Years ago I was waiting in line at Subway and they had T-Swift playing, and I caught my foot involuntarily tapping and I was like "how dare you" 😂 Then I learned to accept it haha

But this hits just right and is even better 🔥
