Nice video! I would say there are no true concavities in the human figure, or life forms in general, even trees; rather, what are first perceived as concavities are simply overlapping, convex contour lines. Like you said, the forms are always swelling outward.

The wave idea has always been foreign to me. There is no boundary of the natural form that is concave. Everything is convex where flesh is involved (necks, horns, cartilage anatomy not counting).
