Imagine how emotional Rogue going to be when she face Gambit as the horseman of death. In season two they are probably going have a small tease for each episode before they reveal Gambit as death. Like Apocalypse going to Gambit grave to revive him. Or a full episode of Apocalypse reviving Gambit as his horseman of death.

I'm sure this transformation will be in X-Men 97 if I'm not mistaken we saw Apocalypse at Genosha holding one of Gambits cards. I also think Wolverine will be one of his horsemen along with Gambit. Remember apocalypse was the one who rebonded the adamantium to Wolverine after Magneto ripped it out

The post credit scenes implies as much is going to happen. As for Mr Sinister, his entire deal is defeating Apocalypse. It's the primary reason he created Cable.

Actually after Mr. Sinsiter fixed him he still had his ability to transform into his death horseman persona and use those powers i cant remember if he still has it though. Stopped collecting x-men a few years ago

When I watch X-Men 97 install apocalypse holding Gambit's card I can imagine him coming back and also I can imagine the looks on everyone's face to make his return and also who else would be the three members of The four horsemen besides Gambit so if this version of Gambit make his debut I wonder how the other three would make their debut and also even if he breaks it would he returned to normal or would he be turned to dust

IIRC, Gambit's deal was that he felt cucked by some rando mutant Mystique superimposed onto the X-Men as a suitor for Rogue in her convoluted attempt to drive Rogue and Remy apart. Rogue wasn't feeling it, but Remy felt threatened to the point where he left the X-Men and joined up with Apocalypse, as you do.
