A court in Russia has extended Wall Street Journal (WSJ) reporter Evan Gershkovich‘s detention by three months, until August 30. Gershkovich was arrested in March on espionage charges while on a reporting trip in Russia and formally detained in April. He, his employer and the US government have denied the charges.
