Best Civic yet. Pricey though. If you want cheap find a Sentra or Jetta base models, cheap is no longer a thing for Honda. Love the new blue lagoon pearl color and the gray seats. Great review.

I agree with another comment. This was the best review on this car. I really enjoyed the format and the different items you covered. As a current owner of the Sport Touring Hybrid, I completely agree with your review.
I have owned several 11th gen Civics and for an everyday driver, the Hybrid is the best overall. Si is more engaging because of the manual, but the Hybrid is actually a little quicker 0-60 and with the instant torque, more responsive.

I bought this same Civic in Urban Gray Pearl with black leather interior and I just love this car. I traded in a 2014 Mercedes CLA 250 to get it and have not regretted that trade for one moment. Econ mode is just fine for most driving around town and it has plenty of acceleration for getting onto the interstate in that mode. For my wife I replaced her totaled 2018 Subaru Outback with a 2024 Crosstrek just because she loved that SUV so much. Good to have both types in the garage as we did before. EDIT: Forgot to say I no longer have to put Premium gas and get 40% less gas mileage as in the Mercedes.

My wife and I bought a “Rallye Red” (should be “Arrest Me Red”) sport touring hybrid about 2 weeks ago. Had to negotiate on price for over an hour, but was worth it—we love the car. Plenty of power for acceleration; it presses you back in your seat and passing another car on the freeway is effortless. Seats are comfortable although there is no lumbar support adjustment.

It’s surprisingly efficient. We took it on a ~1500 mile road trip: Ventura county CA to Bishop CA 45 mpg; Bishop to Reno NV 50 mpg; Reno to and around Lake Tahoe then on to Santa Clara county 54 mpg. We’re delighted with the car.

First time car buyer and I got the Sentra SR couple months ago but now keeping an eye on this. I’m tempted to do a trade-in maybe a year or so from now. Also I love your enthusiasm when you tested the handling 😂

Only major downside is no rear vents, heated seats, and USB ports. Canadian spec gets all those, for $32k, the touring trim should get those.

Just wondering your thoughts on the civic hybrid vs base Camry? Similar price and equipment but the Camry is bigger and had rear AC vents etc.

Might have to trade in the 2022 BRZ for something with 4 doors, more space, and auto, so that the wife can drive it too. Since you've driven both, 2025 Honda Civic Hybrid, hatchback of course, or a 2025 VW GTI S. 2025 GTI should drive the same as the 2024, with some nice interior/exterior upgrades. Both in the low to mid $30K range. Would be used for commuting on weekdays and fun roads on the weekends, when I'm not on the motorcycle 😉. I know nothing will drive like the BRZ, but these seem like nice compromises? Elantra N with the DCT is tempting too. Thank you for all the great content!

Why does this blue Civic not look at all like the Civic on Honda's website? Looking at it @3:38 here, this blue one looks great. But it's shorter in the front and back, and the headlights and tail lights are different than the one shown on the website..??
