This is an unedited clip from the closing of a discussion with John Sanders that I decided not to use in a larger video on free will and providence. I thought it was still interesting, though, so maybe a few others would be interested in it as well.

The parable of the man asking for little money when forgiven much debt and then thrown in jail would hopefully see his wrong.

Charles Russell founder of the International Bible Students which the Jehovah's Witnesses came from was essentially a universalist. As an exjw when I found that out it blew my mind. Recently I watched a video by a YouTube famous guy named Lucas who insists the Christian position is the infinite punishment in hell is real because even in hell nobody will ever accept Christ so it's reasonable that they will be punished forever. THE Christian position, he claimed.

You, as an individual, are responsible for your own salvation. Period.

God is not going to arrive on Earth with thunderbolts to solve any of your problems.

Faith and love are powers that almost every human can increase, and use. They are powerful.

Church attendance is falling because churches have become castles, with folks defending against, and attacking, other churches/castles. There is only one truth, but no one teaches it.

Religion should be a precious gift, offered in humility, and without any threats.
