I’m sad that Bakugan Legends was cut short for gen 3. The majority of toys are reprints and the anime only has 13 episodes. There are only a few gen 3 Bakugan I’m interested in, but who knows how I’ll feel when they actually release. As someone who got into Bakugan during Battle Brawlers (the first season) I think the Battle Planet anime is actually good, especially Armored Alliance. I wish more fans gave it a chance.

What I think is that they should totally make new rules so we could use all bakugan even the old gen so it would be actually fun and actually feel like bakugan came to life again.

So far I'm pretty hopeful for Gen 3, because if Gen 2 was taught us anything, it's that Spin Master have learned from their mistakes, and hey, these are basically Beyblade Bakugan, so it can't be that bad! I currently don't really like the designs though, Dan looks weird to me at the moment, and the toys themselves look very prototypey and plasticity, but this is just the beggining, and overtime it'll probably get better. All I can say for certain is that Gen 3 is going to be VERY interesting

The new re-boot has me feeling bittersweet. I’m gonna miss this generation of bakugan, but I’m still optimistic for what the new gen has in store, and I’d rather have a new gen than bakugan just ending any day!

To be perfectly honest it does kind of blow that they're rebooting it again. My favourite aspect of the new gen was the tcg, but knowing that they'll never pick it up again most likely is kinda sad. On the bright side the new logo does look pretty damn good. Plus the actual designs of the cards and packaging that were shown in the video are looking sleek and crisp. So all hope is not lost I guess. (tbh I say all of this but I'll still be happy as long as they keep giving me over the top cool shiz)

As a kid, I was really into Bakugan battle brawlers, and I got into it to play the game. I was happy to see it come back with a fully functional TCG for Gen 2. The main reason I got into Bakugan again as an adult was that my brother and I decided to give it another chance because the only reviews I was hearing about for the new Bakugan were the toy battling game, which in my opinion didn’t seem all that interesting. But I was completely blown away by the new TCG for Gen 2 and that was my main reason for buying, and collecting Bakugan so I could play the TCG. I’m disappointed that the TCG isn’t going to be around anymore, but, Bakugan still has a special place in my childhood and I’m glad it’s continuing to live on.

I am excited to see that the new Gate Cards and Training Sets look like the original concept design for "Battle Brawlers" from 2003 from before it was even called "Bakugan". 👀

But honestly from what we've seen so far is not all bad. A little saddening because yeah G2 and the TCG is gone. And the whole "Beyblade Bakugan" was funny at first but became annoying quickly after people kept calling the new special attack bakugan that.

Two exceptions exist to that. Haos/Darkus Cyndeous x Skorporos, which is an entirely new fusion combo, and Pyrus/Haos Cloptor x Apollyon.

When I first saw stuff about the threeboot, I felt my heart sink. I was feeling disappointed that I never got to actually play the TCG during its tenure, thanks to both the pandemic and having no stores that had tournaments. But, I have hopes that Gen 3 is another step into making Bakugan the best it can be.

One good thing that came out of Bakugan Legends is that I finally managed to get a Drago X Tretorus (Diamond) and Nillious X Eenoch (Elemental), since in previous waves, the only way I could have gotten them was buying cases and arenas (we get very fractured releases here in NZ, sometimes missing entire waves)...

My concern about gen 3 is bakugan being made of manually opening parts like gen 1, something that I am not into. I preferred it when the entire bakugan opened up automatically like in gen 2.
