Stick with quality names like Bussman for fuses and breakers. Blue Sea master disconnects are also high quality. Sorry, I wouldn't rely on a "Nilight" to properly break a circuit or disconnect the system. Their 12v stuff is okay, but not for critcal protection.

clicked on video just to make sure you weren't using it on a 48v system! you're on 12v so it's fine. HOWEVER, people should go with a higher quality component from Blue Sea Systems and not that <$10 amazon special... it. just. ain't. worth. it!

also, yes, breakers CAN be used as a 'disconnect' - BUT, they are not designed to be a 'switch'. their 'switch life expectancy' is VERY low compared to a purpose built switch. so a few flips now and again is fine, but something that will be used more (like a battery disconnect in an RV or boat) = USE A SWITCH!

Why is using the circuit breaker “neyeah”?? That’s what circuit breakers are designed to do.

My advice, Don't trust these no name Chinese piece of crap devices. 1000's dollars in decent batteries and gear and you cheap out safety devices that will prevent your rig from burning down with you asleep inside.
