I remember the recent episode on how economic policies, have been unpredictable under this govt. The main issues in fall in manufacturing are the following: 5X high custom tariffs, lack of encouraging entrepreneurial environment (more burden on taxpayers with high income), and the big players giving donations are under political protection while young players get harassed & arm twisted by govt agencies. Central govt should not allow raids on non-gujju businesses in profitable states, on mere suspicion. Why have public banks written off 10, 09, 511 crores loans to ultra wealthy industrialists in last 5 years?

A nation grows when the middle-class has more money in their pockets. If you put more money in people's pockets, govt can increase demand, which will encourage businesses to expand capacity & also create more jobs to fulfil the new rise in demand. So companies are not seeing demand to increase capacity. India’s manufacturing activity slipped. High levels of unemployment are in Bihar & Rajasthan, Haryana; they are suffering more due to severe lack of any type of manufacturing in these States. Govt has only prioritised items like imported luxury cars for VVIPs. We have enough real national issue, on govt's plate; instead of beti, machli, mangalsutra, mutton, nizam.

Medium & small businesses create a lot more jobs, trains the youth & increases the per capita income of the country. People who pay the most income taxes have no social security or govt pension. We are not an export-driven economy like China or Vietnam. Customs process is difficult in India compared to China. So if domestic demand is not picking up, then you are likely to have problems. So do some vikas for medium & small businesses who actually create jobs. When Govt is increasing taxes on items & individuals, it will reduce investments due to low demand. Instead, if you put more money in people's pockets, govt can increase demand, which will encourage businesses to expand capacity & also create more jobs to fulfil the new rise in demand.

As per the economic times, Govt loss stood at 100, 241 crore of revenue loss in 2020-21, due to reducing corporate tax rate to 22% in 2019-20. Corporation 'A', who has created far fewer jobs than any one company, Amul/TATA/any major bank. Is this why our forefathers fought the British for our freedoms? Where was rule of law & order during the lakhimpur incident where a Union Minister's son ran over a farmer? I see top sloganeering, youth joblessness, dancing in yatras front of mosques to act tough & attack unarmed innocent bystanders, food inflation. India's trade deficit is with 9 out of the 10 nations we import from.

There is lack of encouraging entrepreneurial environment (more burden on taxpayers with high income). And many poor & middle class are paying so much through gst. The cost of living is skyrocketing. Income tax from same taxpayers, has increased from 492, 654 lakh crore in 2019-20 to 1, 022, 325 lakh crores in 2022-23. Are we not counted? Is India for the ultra wealthy few? We put Govt in power so that they do middle class vikas & lift the poor out of poverty. Do the public own India or not? Industrialist's money are hidden in shell companies in the Maldives & Cayman Islands. Sbi has underwritten the loan of 12, 770 crores of Company A. The no of cases of wilful defaulters of loans have peaked 1.6 times from 2014 to 2023.

P.s Bjp & congress are saying soyabean msp is too less in Maharashtra & will increase it. Bjp said something similar in other states too during last election

Collaboration, consensus, middle ground, compromise are rapidly losing relevance even in robust democracies as they pivot towards polarizing and divisive atmospheres. Institutions are losing trust of the citizens they ought to serve. Inequality is rising and economies are underperforming. Anger is compounding as a result.
