So, I guess the only question I have is if the i9 is worth it. I've got a 17 R4 (the bulky one) with a 1080 and after three years I think that an upgrade makes sense.

The vents on the top are air vents, not speakers. :)

Finally i can say Dell released a good laptop as this M17 R4, because the cooling is good enough here. The small one M15 R4 is not ok, cuz too hot as well as previous M17 R3 & M15 R3.
By the way, I have some thermal statistics about R4 laptops collected from many tests and benchmarks from Mash IT channel + undervolting experince and settings. If you want, I can share.

Also, in all your future videos please use MSI Afterburner and Riva tuner so we can monitoring real temperatures and FPS while you playing.

And Finally, in all your future videos with this laptop please add the following IMPORTANT information (in description is ok) as we need to understand clear testing conditions:
1. What THERMAL mode was active in Alienware Command Center (AWCC) - Balanced, Performance or Full Speed ?
2. What POWER mode was active in Alienware Command Center (AWCC) - Balanced or High Performance ?
3. CPU & GPU status - stock or undervolted. If undervolted - clarify details.
4. TCC offset (in BIOS) - default (0) or changed ?
