In this video, I highlight the best restaurants, in my opinion, in Boston to check out in 2024. Boston is home to many great restaurants, and I am excited to return to Boston to visit 6 great restaurants you need to check out on your next weekend trip to Boston.

1. Yankee Lobster - Located in Boston's Seaport district, Yankee Lobster is a great place to go for tasty lobster rolls and other great seafood.

2. Lolita Back Bay - Located in Boston's Back Bay, Lolita Back Bay is a Mexican restaurant serving all kinds of great Mexican food as well as different drinks which you can get.

3. Carmelina's - Located in Boston's North End, Carmelina's is one of the top Italian restaurant in the North End. I head over there to have some of their homemade pasta.

4. Boston Sail Loft - Located near Boston's North End, I return to the Boston Sail Loft after visiting there a few years ago to have some great seafood especially the New England clam chowder.

5. Union Oyster House - Located in Downtown Boston near Faneuil Hall, the Union Oyster House is one of the oldest restaurants in the United States and is well know for their oysters.

6. Broadside Tavern - Located in Boston's Financial District, Broadside Tavern is a great place to go for some tasty pub grub.

I’m a Bostonian. I’ve lived here 60 years. I’ll die here. The best clam chowder I’ve ever had is at 621 in Malden 4 miles outside Boston. Every spoonful I literally say OMG this chowder is amazing

OK. Townie here. Lolita Back Bay is a hard to find GREAT FIND on Dartmouth Street in Copley. Love this place! So glad you found it!
Across from Sail Loft is La Mangia Calamari (The Daily Catch) is quite good. Best calamari I’ve ever had.
UOH can be avoided if at all possible IMHO.

As a Bostonian, spending any amount of time eating Mexican food while visiting Boston is WILD. We deliver on seafood, Italian, steak, and I’d also argue our Chinese food scene is premier. But Mexican? As a former Texan, nope. Lolita’s is cool, but more of a vibe place than a food place. I’ve tried Citrus and Salt in the Seaport and that place actually caught my attention.

You DID nail the North End spot though. It’s impossible to get into Carmelina’s. Perfectly consistent and exactly-per-expectations food for a decent price RIGHT on the main drag of the North End (Boston’s Italian neighborhood). Can you eat better? Yes. Bricco is perfect. Will you break your bank? Yes.

Nice! I ate Chuck-E-Cheese's pizza yesterday and Chick-fil-A today! I'm excited to see what freeway vid you got for us this time. Also, is anyone in your family in the music industry?

$35. 😮 That’s certainly a splurge. But I still order. It looked amazing. I’ve only had clam chowder in can and at Red Lobster. 😂 But I’ve never been to the New England area. I’d definitely get that when there. All these restaurants looked really good. Thanks for sharing. 😊

Who can afford eating out in this hyperinflationary Obiden economy?
