What defunding means:
(1) Gangs, drug dealers, rapists, pedofiles, murderers, thiefs will have a field day. 1:46
(2) Trucking companies will not allow their drivers to make deliveries in such an area. (No more deliveries from Amazon)

(5) The people living in defunded areas will complain that nothing is done for them because they feel that public safety for them no longer exists.

I'm all for protesting for a good cause, but at this time I would think slowing the spread of a deadly virus would be priority number one for people wanting safety.

Cut the budgets and give the loud minority what they want. It will include longer response times, increase in violent crimes, etc. All you have to do is search current poorly funded police departments and they will see the results

If this happens no officer will be working as a police officer and risking his/her own life for a salary of a McDonald’s worker. I’d rather they get paid good for the risk they are going through everyday they clock in for.

De fund the police are you nuts ? Cops should get stun shields (with viking logos), spiked batons, steel toe boots, Grizzly bear mace and razor wire handcuffs as standard equipment.

Watching from Australia, (in horror) as USA police look more militaristic and violent than anything we see here. 😳 We still have the occasional bad cop but we don't have anything like the choke-holds, shoot first or even handcuffing people like we see on your news. Handcuffs are only used when a person has clearly been advised of the offence, if at all.
