Homeless must be given help. What are these protesters doing to help? Just protest then go to Starbucks for a latte and put it on Instagram. Cops need to go after thugs and hoodlums.

Do more than “protest”, let them stay with you in your home.
And that cop was being WAY too nice, because the cameras were there, if they weren’t,
they would’ve been a complete as-hole

This is only about homeless tent encampment. Not clearing of homeless people

There was a homeless man that started to harass me and my neighbors. Started to stalk us and demand we buy him beer. I had to call the cops on him and of course these busybodies started to preach compassion and kindness. I was like, you could house him with you if you practice what you preach

Or greedy landlords who can raise rents at the drop of a dime. I dont have all of the solutions but I just thought I'd give a little food for thought. Some intelligent food for thought.

There are beds available in NYC shelters all around the city. These protesters could assist
a homeless person to 30th st and 1st Ave to register for shelter.

The thing is a lot of the homeless people on the streets are drug addicts and they would rather live on the street and get high then get help and housing. I Did sales and marketing on the streets of NYC for over 8 years and I used to sit down and talk to the homeless people, cause i never ignored or treated them like shit. Most of them told me they would rather be on the street and ask for money (most of them make money panhandling) Then get a job and housing.. Alot of the homeless people have mental problems and will never want or get the help they need.
