uhh no. these guys formed in 1991 and At The Gates in 1990. If anything these 2 bands together with Dark Tranquility and In Flames started the Gothenburg death metal scene. Get your facts straight buddy.

Yeah, sure, this band is pretty much At The Gates. But At The Gates don't make music any more, I'm glad Evocation exists.
It's a good song, does it matter if it's reminiscent of At The Gates? Hell they even cover them. It's not like they're afraid to admit that it's one of their bigger influences.
