What is the difference between evocation and invocation, what are they used for and does everyone agree? Plus what about the lesser used term Aspecting?

I consider the terms of Evocation/ Invocation as you do. Evo - External and Invo - Internal. I like to keep it simple to be honest. There is some disparity when it comes to how one should conduct these procedures, the Goetia etcetera and I cant help but to think of Stephen Skinner's words on such matters when he regards the Goetic spirits. He goes on to say that they do not like us (humans) and he would not advise the practitioner to become great friends with them as they have a disdain for us. The use of Frankincense by the way - not just a minor offering and atmospheric relevance to help the spirit manifest in some fashion (not necessarily physical) it also disguises the smell of the human. Overall I think i'm a bit on the fence with code of conduct. I wouldn't wish to be rude to a spirit but I certainly would not trust one. Respect might be better reserved until after the spirit has obeyed ones wishes. I have done path working which isn't as intense as a Goetic evocation and I really liked that. You get a sense of the spirit, in my case I got the impression of a face and a strong sense of colour. I wasn't rude but I have no desire to befriend one. Knowing my luck it'd end up wreaking complete havoc in my life. Great Video by the way. Thanks Lee

If one were to 'worship' anything, why would anyone choose to worship anything at all, except KNOWLEDGE, as we are born blank slates (for the most part) and as a species born ignorant, lack of knowledge is the proverbial Achilles heal of the race of Man. From where I see it, if Man is compelled to 'worship' anything at all, it ought to be KNOWLEDGE. Does that seem like a shallow or limited perspective to you? We have things Demons do not and are not capable of doing or creating for themselves, i.e. flesh, the ability for fleshly/3D experiences and well, we are "living", they are not. I think it's why when folks drink themselves to blackout state but their bodies haven't shut off, demons can take over for a period of time and do ghastly things (lots of stories of that sort of thing manifesting in this reality. Your thoughts? (if you'd care to write them)
