From what I've read most NK's who defect and want to go back to NK are either depressed by life in the south because they grew up in the north were they were so isolated from the real world that they can't cope outside of NK. Some are plants who defect with help of the NK government so that they can gather information then they sneak back into NK. There is a huge gap between NK's and SK's and a lot of mistrust generated by their governments. NK is far worse in their quest to disrupt things in the south. There are still thousands of NK's sneaking out no matter what the end results are. This video doesn't elaborate on the fact that many NKL's have flourished, and it is a very small minority of NK's who can't make it in the south. I've even met NK's in Europe, Australia, and the United States who do quite well.
