I love the fact after going though hell from fights, you go to camp and everyone looks like they are on their death bed.

I've done this with Lae'zel. I forget the reason why, this happened about a year or so ago during early access, but I didn't recruit her right away, and found her running into the Githyanki near the bridge, she talked to them, and before I could get down and join her, they killed her, then attacked me. I killed them, and walked away from the fight being pissed off I let her die, but I hadn't saved in a while so I just kept going without her. Later on, after doing several more quests, I came back, saw her corpse still lying there, and got the bright idea to try and resurrect her. To my amazement it actually worked. I don't recall any special dialogue, but I was quite happy to be able to recruit her.
