The devs could’ve easily made the axe lose momentum and not travel indefinitely.
Thankfully this is a good game

There was a theory that The Axe has a part of Faye 's soul in it. If that's true then Kratos knows how to Troll her in her afterlife.

No matter how much of a stoic badass Kratos might be, he still is just a man with the same kind of lethal curiosity.

They definitely had much fun with installing the axe. One of my favorite things in GOW (2018) was it to throw the axe away or to leave it behind just to call it back from miles away.

I accidentally discovered this in my playthrough. Talk about an easy way to completely distract me for an hour as I tried to see how many more of these there were.

I was playing this with my girl and I stopped to do this exact thing and she started getting annoyed with how I would just stand there and watch it. She didn't get it and I had to explain to her that the developers understand how our monkey brains work. 😄

There should just be an entire game with these physic walls (forgot what they were called) that you can mess around in.
