I got a call and some videos that our nieghborhood was in flames. Rushed home to make sure our house was okay.

I live in the Northeast U.S. and even we are starting to get a taste of this with the Canadian wildfires blackening the skies. And near me a few controlled burns have also gotten out of control too, but thankfully they were ended!

Happy that you guys are safe! The Western part of the US are in a BIG drought and causing wild fires and shoutout to your local fire and police services for doing their best to control the fire! And keep uploading videos left and right! Can't wait for the video where you find that [REDACTED] inside of the statue!

I had a really good view of the fire from my room on the other side of the river and field a few hundred feet away. If the fire had crossed the river I'd have been in trouble.

When the fire is still actively going please don’t fly a drone anywhere near the fire. If they needed a helicopter to drop water they’d have to wave them off if a drone is spotted nearby.

This one place that I used to worked at before it was a big hotel. It had some smaller building around the area. The part of the resort caught on fire 3 weeks ago. It was so sad after seeing the place that had a fire that started in the basement. It had old timbers and old wood planks from an old barn that was there was used for some of the walls for old rustic charm it used to have before the fire. I had a lot of memories of that place before it was a resort. Even when I was working in the old bakery/sandwich shop during the summers of 1987-1990. I even did worked on the weekends during the fall, too. In one year that I worked in mid May through late October 1989. My parents came up to visit on weekends to stayed with me. I even had my cat with me, too. The resort was a 1/4 mile away from our vacation home at the time. Even my father worked there during the summers. Also my sister worked in the bakery/sandwich shop with me during the summers of 1987-1989. Sometimes we did worked together. I preferred to worked in the early mornings than the closing shift. My sister was opposite. I was so sad to see it happened. Even my sister did have some memories of that place, too.

Glad you’re OK. You should use your cameras to check. That’s why you always put a good PTZ camera on the peak of a house you can look around

I can tell you're OK with the extinguishment. You had the immunity from evacuation. The Maui townspeople were subject to it recently causing them to stay at the local airport for social security.🔥

Hopefully everyone is okay… my community here in Fargo/Moorhead is trying to recover after the Fargo Marathon director passed away two weeks ago, and just recently a police shooting loosing a 23 year old with less than 3 months on the job, killed in the line of duty
