The only downsides as far I can see(I have it for just one day now) are these two:
1) the camera/app doesn't allow you to record in fewer frames, only the standard/fixed 30. As far as the video recording the only options are SD and HD, that's it.
2) Is not clear to me that when the camera detect a human or other things you program it to do, if it also record as long as that human/object is in view, or is record all the time n matter what.
