Now people will over-react and run the other way when they hear other diagnosis companies. This will have a huge negative impact for research and innovation for awhile.

What really shocked me about the Theranos fraud was how many high profile investors got totally scammed. It's as if these people just suspended their normal critical thinking when a pretty young woman (Holmes) was the one in the CEO position making the pitch. Even after the Theranos debacle people are still walking on eggshells trying not to criticize the key players too harshly....amazing.
