It's great and heartwarming to see Gandalf smiling, laughing, dancing and making fireworks amongst the hobbits. He might be the only man of the big Folk to visit them in their territories. Other powerful races like elves and men can be attached to their arrogance because of their desire for more power, and they can have no compassion for others. But as a Maia of the Valars, Gandalf truly loves these small creatures and does not underestimate them at all. He enjoys them, admires them and have complete faith in their strength and bravery! I love Gandalf!

Frodo really did make this movie.. his facial expressions alone carried so much weight, an all time great performance in acting this film.
