Cysteine is actually classified as non polar.
You can also add to non-polar the ARomatic amino-acid and sulphuric amino acids (methionine and cysteine)
We also have an excluded category for glycine because it’s not polar, it’s not non-polar...it just exist lol
Although it’s important to mention that tyrosine and cysteine have ionizable function in its radical -R and it can dissociate.
