McMurtry Spéirling | 1000hp Baby EV Batmobile Fan Car Sounds Like a JET Take Off!

The McMurtry Spéirling broke the Goodwood Hill Climb record 23 years after Nick Heidfeld's timed shootout record in the McLaren MP4/13. F1 and IndyCar star Max Chilton did a 39.08 seconds run in the McMurtry Spéirling, resulting the fastest car ever at the Goodwood Festival of Speed today.
This baby batmobile is powered by two electric motors and a fan system producing more than 1,000hp and 2,000kg of downforce. When the fans are at full speed, they emit about 120dB of noise, comparable to that of a jet engine at full speed!
Hope you like it!

This car is so cute and powerful for its size. I love it. It does look like a baby Batmobile.

truly incredible feat of engineering. That one guy in the comments calling this boring must have a pretty boring life. Amazing. I can only imagine how farther we can go past this point.

It's fantastic piece of automotive engineering, but gotta be honest with one thing: having those fans to suck it down to road were one major contributor to the record breaking time. Mind you, it takes shitload of guts from the driver to go for the corner faster than usual.

Funny fact, a simple renault would destroy this car on a 10 laps (even less) race. Quite a useless car 😂...a car that can barely do a lap! There is a reason why the best car producers didn't do this type of shit (they could do the same easy btw) 😂😂😂😂
