Carwow had this Car on his channel and the damn thing ran a 7:97 quarter mile I believe🤔I know it was under 8 seconds. What was scary is it was limited to 150mph which it topped out at a ways before the quarter mile ended so it would have ran faster😲

Remember the McMurtry generates 2tonnes of downforce at 0mph so practically speaking this is the Chaparral 2j but without the engine and a lot less weight

I’ve seen that thing in person. I watched it go backwards up the Corkscrew at Laguna Seca.
Side note………
But the McMurtry is the fastest car I’ve seen besides a Top Fueler. I was anti-electric till I saw this thing. Get used to these things and others like it. It’s the next generation of automobiles. I just hope I get to see a George Jetson mobile before I kick the bucket. 😂😂😂
