You knew what you were buying with a 30mm scope. You had 14 days to "Try it out" and return it if it didn't work for you. The XL is HUGE and will most likely attract more light AND give a wider sight picture using a larger peep. I'll get mine (UV3) this week. Attach it to my sight and hit the outdoor 3D range in all kinds of lighting conditions. I'll put it through the ringer and decide if it's not for me and my setup. Cheers

Really appreciate this! Was starting to consider experimenting with a UV3XL in place of my Axcel 41 heading into the next 3D season and you pretty much answered EVERY question I had. I hate when something starts to loosen, the vibration gets me "flicking" everything to figure out what it is then I start thinking about it between shots and don't focus as well. Also, in my shooting group we all run Zbros Evolution lights and change colors depending on lighting (blue for dark targets in shadows, green for bright lighting) plus the Zbros will last for months on a single charge and that's when we shoot 5 plus days a week. Everyone I know runs either 4x or 6x lenses as well. I completely agree on wanting a scope big enough to find your target. Thank you, for the review, I just don't see enough positive to justify the cost right now. Maybe with Chris Bee running in ASA, they'll make some more improvements toward the 3D usage and I'll gladly consider them again. Until then, my Axcel will stay on my TRX and I'll keep working on the Indian behind the bow! 🤣

That was helpful. Chris bee mentioned the same thing - aperture drowns out the target. Overall good scope. It’s a problem in the shade 40 plus yards.

Excellent. Honesty means a lot. 300 dollars isn’t cheap. Can’t make 2 mistakes.

That uv rod is the bee knees. Fits as tight as possible in it.

They should have push button scope covers like a rifle scope

I got the original one and it was waste of money IMO. WAS hoping it would work on the 3-d range but at times in the bright sun it would fade out. Even turning the light on wasofverylittle use. Probably a great indoor sight but I don't shoot indoor dots.
