I have the UV3 double pin on my HHA Tetra Max Ryz. Busted the buffer tube that holds the fiber optics while stalking some game in the brush. The pins were fine but didn't like dangly fibers on the bottom of the scope. And I didn't want to RMA it with UV especially with another hunt weekend so close around the corner, so I sourced out the fibers and a new tube. Easy fix and changed the colors at the same time.

Try the white ring cartridge with the scope. It might make you feel a little better about lining up with that bottom pin compared to the light cartridge.

Heck yeah. Dope review and tinkering session. I gotta upgrade bows and my shooting game before I go to a sight of that caliber. Keeping it simple is best for me right now.

I wouldn’t. That HHA scope housing and a spot Hogg scope housing are much more durable, and better constructed. I have the UV3XL, and it is a fine target scope, but I would question the durability when running ridges in pursuit of any game.

I have been playing with a similar set up, I am running the two pin uv. Feels like it what the cool kids are running. For elk idk how I feel about not having fixed pins. This year I drew a really awesome unit so really testing different things lately

I've run the ultraview scopes on my target and hunting bows and I only use the 2 set screws that are easily accessible. I've never had them back out on me. I was looking at the 3pin as well but, like you said the middle pin being fixed, not sure I would like that. Thanks for the review!

I love my uv3xl! I did get a scope ring from a dude named Cory Craig. He makes scope rings and torque rings that greatly improved the sight window that just clicks on the front of the uv3. He can make em any color and also can do the multi ring sizing like spot hogg. Worth looking at! Blayded outdoors did a video about a year ago on them of ya want to check em out.

What is the benefit of switching to the ultra view scope? I see a bunch of people doing it but don’t really see the benefit of doing it so maybe I’m missing something?

I have the UVXL and I don’t like it. The sight picture is terrible without an alignment ring and 4 minutes is not enough for a hunting sight

Great video, been on the verge in pulling the trigger to get the HHA tetra Ryz max. Right now I’m running the Spot Hogg fast Eddie xl. I noticed your stabilizers are the AAE ones? Do you prefer those over the new Mathews stabilizers? I have a V3x 29 so I can’t run those but have been in the market for some new ones.
