When reinstalling....you really shound make sure that the tool shaft is centered...you misaligned and bent the outer ring...which will cause premature failure...the socket u used helps to keep it centered...but an oversized cut of bolt head works alot better to keep it centered. Great video....but careful once is better than installing twice

Good vid. I use the same technique. Snap-On 1/2" cordless impact gets'er done as well. Note to viewers, If you don't have one or want to spend the money on a ball joint press, you can rent one at most Auto parts stores. Advance actually gives you a complete refund when you return it.
I have to do lowers on a Silverado tomorrow. Can you come and do a tutorial on how to remove caliper bracket, wheel hub, knuckle, strut and lower control arm?? You may have to show me twice. Good thing there's 2 sides. 😂 Thanks for the vid. Wrench on.

Which approach would you use if bushing has a lip which covers the arm completely, so you cannot push against the arm with a wider cup? Talking about Honda specifically, and not the compliance bushing but the other one, the narrow one with a lip? How to get it out?

What's the best way to fix a lower control arm if you forgot to put support and pinch the control arm

Are the control arms kit that are purchased on ebay any good? You get a kit with like 17pcs for $145. I need to know before tossing out the original arm controls and replacing them, other wise I can just change the bushings.

Pretty good tutorial. Unfortunately my lower control arm is a bit more tricky than this one. I've got an old Nissan Primera P11 / Infiniti G20 . One bushing is similar to this, but the other one is quite different. It looks like the alignment is critical as well. The ball joint is a bit tricky too. I think I might just have to replace the whole arm, kind of annoying, but I don't have the special tools needed to replace the components on the arm individually.

what if you have to re-use the metal sleeve with your new bushing, it seems like pressing the bushing out of the sleeve would damage it?

Great instruction, straight to the point it is all about the visuals 👌🏾👍🏾💪🏾👏🏾😱🙏🏿🇯🇲🇨🇦.
A great friend to give you this tool had to purchase mine 🤷🏾‍♂️🍻😯but in the long run money well down for an at-home mechanic, these are very versatile toll👨🏾‍🔧.
