So Unity dumps Rick with a Dear John letter, she uses her other boyfriend to block Rick, then years later Rick blocks Unity when she tries to reach out, so she literally possesses the entire state of Virginia just to get his attention? Even after she swore she would never do that to Rick’s planet/species. And her only excuse is she cares and she worries? Yeah on Rick’s side on this one. Double standards when it comes to violating boundaries. Nobody gets to invade an ex’s life after the bridge is burned.

Unity was def in the wrong for walking out on Rick the way she did. However, Rick definitely could’ve at least answered one of her calls. I mean it’s clear she didn’t contact him for a long time, but if she’s calling after all that time, seems to me a lot of unnecessary hardship and awkwardness could have been avoided

I really hated how they made Rick out to be the bad guy over what happened in Virginia. Unity is the one who broke things off with him (rightfully so), so she can't expect that he's going to be waiting for her call or that he won't have moved on.
