Paul Castellano’s rise would see him join the powerful Mangano crime family. There he would associate himself with mafia heavyweight Albert Anastasia and his own cousin Carlo Gambino.

Following the disappearance of crime boss Vincent Mangano, the assassination of Albert Anastasia, and finally the death of Carlo Gambino, Castellano would eventually become the boss of the crime family. Seeing him live the high life in his mansion, walking around in silk bathrobes and wearing velvet slippers, whilst demanding large amounts of money from his crew every month.

Things would soon go downhill for Paul Castellano though after his own men John Gotti, Sammy ‘The Bull’ Gravano and Frank DeCicco conspired against him. Seeing Castellano being assassinated outside Sparks Steakhouse at the age of 70.

In my opinion Paul was doomed when he became boss. He would've either died in prison or in the streets. There's more reasons but you pointed out the important ones. Enjoyed the video overall! can't wait for more 👍
