I honestly think i could parade 10 guys around on TV with 1980s video quality in suits ranging from $100 to $3000 and the average person wouldn't be able to tell the difference. The hype over how he dressed is so over done. His fate was sealed when he carried out an execution in the middle of a crowded NY street in front of hundreds of witnesses. He could've been the most secretive boss in history and he was still gonna go down after that.

Umm, no, Gotti was a real mobster. He wasn’t some wannabe thug. He was legit. I grew up in Ozone Park in the 80’s and 90’s and everyone loved John there. He kept the neighborhood safe. No one fu**ed around there. You could leave your doors unlocked, women felt safe walking down the street, no one was stealing cars or selling crack on the corners, everyone knew not to screw around there. Howard Beach and Ozone Park were great places to live at the time. John used to throw the best 4th of July block parties for the neighborhood. There was food, fireworks, the kids were having a great time. It was a great era. Everyone would celebrate when he’d beat a court case. “I’m screwing the system that screws them every day”
