First time on the Kawasaki Z650!

A demo day test ride on the 2021 Kawasaki Z650 ABS, an upright, naked sport bike with a low seat height. For reference, I am a conservative rider with the bulk of my riding being commuting and mountain rides. I own a 2014 Triumph Street Triple R 675 and I would say my skill level is about average. I'll be featuring more mid level cc bikes on my channel this year because after a poll in my community tab, y'all voted for more of that! Stay tuned for more review videos from a short, everyday rider

I'm a short legged 70yrs old disabled rider, so your reviews are spot on for me. I'm sure there are others that would agree !

You crack me up. Thanks for not taking yourself so seriously and having fun with riding as it should be.

Wow! You hired an assistant! I like Ms. Future displays some nice sarcasm, she is strong on details, I hope we see more of back and forth between you two was very good.

Doodle, another great video. You have such motorcycle charm. No one reviews a bike like you. I watch all the videos of a certain bike that I’m interested in, complete with all the technical info. But I watch you first. Such a joy! Many thanks for being you and sharing with us.

I can't believe this bike is heavier than mine :"D it honestly felt lighter... A really comfortable and budget friendly option in the mid CC range. Next week is the test ride on the slightly "racier" version, the Ninja 650, and then... my favorite of the day... the Z900! What did you think of this bike? Did I miss something? Once I ride just about everything I can get my hands on, I'll do a comparison video on all the bikes I've ridden this year!

Future Doodle is cracking me up. Editing an older video gets my head all mixed up more times than not and I feel the need to annotate things that have changed, future doodle is genius. Thank you

I think Future Doodle needs her own YouTube channel. She seems super cool.

So happy I found your channel. 55 yrs young and been riding for 45 plus years off-road. Finally going to street. Built like a Viking shield maiden so looking forward to seeing your older and new videos! On bigger bikes🎉😊 I am honestly nervous as it’s a whole new experience. Totally different world and that’s honest! So watching your vid next on “Things I wish I knew…”

Doodle I came to the same event the day after you posted in Instagram and got to ride the Vulcan 650 S ABS. Loved the bike. And, yes it was a beautiful ride thru the area that they took use thru. Love your new format of flashing back and forth from the ride to office.

I love that you did this! My 400 is super light and small, i am 5’3”, that was a concern for me. I am glad that you verified the weight being light for a 650. My husband has a Yamaha R3 and it feels so much heavier than mine. Thank you for this! Love watching your channel by the way :)

I'm an experienced rider and have been on motorcycles since high school and thus am not your target audience. And yet, I enjoy your videos, Doodle! Your enthusiasm is refreshing and helps me remember what is was like when I first started riding. Sometimes we become too jaded with the familiar but you've helped me see things with a refreshed set of eyes. Keep 'em coming, Doodle!

If anyone is interested: In Germany we have a riding school, that you have to entend when you want to get your licence. There you learn how to ride and then take a assessment at the end which determines, if you get the licence or not. The riding schools provide their own bikes and the Z650 is actually what i rode there. :)
I thought it was a great beginner bike, because it is pretty smooth (mid cc), lightweight enough and easy to handle. Really cool seeing you try it out!

Doodle, now please take a ride on the Z650's nearest competitor, the Suzuki SV650. Love to know how you compare and contrast them.

Hails from Maricopa! I have the 2020 z650 and have been having a blast on it. I would recommend to anyone that buys one to get rid if the factory tires and put on some Q3+'s, they make a world of difference. I also stiffened up the rear damper from the factory setting a bit. 7300 miles in just under a year on it and no other complaints. Puig makes a wind screen that looks good on it too.
