DIY Whole House Off Grid Solar System -ANYONE CAN INSTALL - MADE EASY
In this video, I will show you how I was able to run my whole house off the grid. Solar systems over the years have come a long way. It is now so easy anyone can run their whole house off the grid. Setup is easy and can be installed quickly. I am using 12k Growatt All in One system. The growatt 12k inverter is split-phase 240v with 36,000 Watt peak it also has a built-in MPPT solar charge controller, I am also using 6 EG4 Lifepower4 Lithium-ion phosphate which is a total of 30kw of energy storage, I am using 3,500 of solar right now to run the system but I will be adding more solar panels for a total of 7,000watts of power which is the max this 1 unit can take in. I also have a wind turbine charging the system but you don't need a wind turbine 7k of solar is more than enough. This system is a true off-grid whole solar power system.

I love how simple the systems are getting.

I have the exact same system with twin 3.2Kw dual axis trackers which has been functioning flawlessly for the past 6 months. The system produces over 60Kwh daily during the summer months which is enough to not only charge the batteries in less then four hours but also run all my loads.

Really awesome system. I'd love to have the same in my home. One thing though: It's Lithium IRON Phosphate chemistry. Not Lithium ION Phosphate. Not trying to be picky, but it could be confusing to battery chemistry newbies trying to learn.

This is a remarkable solar setup, well done, you’re an inspiration friend!

We have our 6 batteries on our covered patio. In a 120 gallon deck box. Works perfectly. It’s solid and flat to the deck so we ran our cables under deck and drilled a hole into bottom of deck box. Looks great and water proof. $98. Fits 6 perfect.

Nice job installing and explaining your system. Certainly better than most Youtubers on the subject.

Wow! That is a really nice system, simple, straight forward and powerful! Nice job!

nice set up.... only thing I'd say is you didn't need to flip the neg buzz bar... that's what parallel is all about! and the difference on a 200 meter buzz bar "may" make a minor difference but on something that short you'd see no gain! and especially going through such a thick conductor, to see a negatable difference on something that thick you'd probably have to go to a mile or more

That's incredible. Exactly what I was thinking about building. Can you make another video discussing the panels and other equipment and the costs? I've been looking at similar setups, but it's very difficult to filter the honest brokers from the shysters.

Finally get to see that beautiful battery setup.

GREAT JOB!
An electrical metal trough run horizontal around the room to hide and run all your cables through would provide you the polished professional ESS. AWESOME JOB!

Electric EMP Shield circuit breaker proof great idea👍👍👍👍

This appears to be a sweet system! Especially, the rack system that contains the six-pack assembly. Keep up the great effort!

The only thing missing is a 48vDC standby generator that can occasionally start automatically for a short period to charge the batteries on a cloudy day without wind.

I have that same inverter and while it performs well as an inverter, the solar controller in it was unreliable and would require the inverter to be disconnected from all power and then reconnect to get it to work. I ended up buying a victron smartsolar and just using that for solar, and only using the inverter as an inverter alone

That's a very nice setup. I love these rack batteries and there are so many choices on the market now! One thing I'd suggest is getting an HRC fuse (Class T) on the main 4/0 cable :)

Nice to see doing videos again. I also like the large transformer style inverters. My 12k YIYEN inverter has been running 5 years now with 0 problems.

Great to see you back with a new system. Been interesting to watch your progression over the years.

Very professional👍🏻 I'm from Lesso solar PV panels manufacture, but learning from your videos.

Remember the VOC voltage is what you are adding up. I have 440 watt panels with 49.61 VOC meaning I can connect 8 panels to my Growatt 5000es that accepts 450 volts and can be paralleled.
