sometimes when you insert a USB flash drive it will not shoow up in windows this is because of the reason that it is not mounted. this video also shows how to unmount a drive which makes a drive invisible in My computer

No help at all - how to mount a drive that is NOT showing on Disk Management ? because it was unmounted against the operators' wishes by the computer itself.

Uh… the drive was not “invisible” to ur computer… it was still listed as a drive… just unassigned…
