This is a session with Yashasvi Jain on Judicial Clerkship, the application process, work it entails, opportunities during and post a judicial clerkship, how to improve chances of your application getting selected, and general tips for Law Students. This video introduces LLB students to an opportunity to observe the intricacies and proceedings of the judicial system.

More on Judicial Clerkship:
Judicial Clerkship offers an opportunity to work under a judge. This allows the clerks to observe the workings of the Indian legislature and to interact with the judges they are working with. It gives the clerks a chance to research and work upon real-life cases and provides insights into the roles of lawyers and judges. The judicial clerk is also required to perform administrative tasks such as docketing, maintenance of the desk and the library of the judge, assembling documents, etc. Therefore, there is no ‘job description’ as such.
