Do you guys still recommend big scoots hosting for established sites?

I like that comment 'The marginal value of an article is less and less over time.' Would you ever recommend branching out to a new website on a somewhat related topic, rather than on the same website? Would it be better to just extend your site map to take advantage of the EAT created on the exisiting site? For example, personal finance and entrepreneurship. Same site or two different sites that might, at times, link to each other?

Would you recommend spreading the content across a few different sub-categories that are all in the top quarter of the search analysis or would you recommend just going down the list? I made a pivot this year on my site and my traffic is doing much better. I was mostly recipes and now I'm doing more article-based articles on the type of diet my site is about. And with your course, I knew how to do these articles and how to be able to pick good topics to write about.

People put in the work and posted 100 articles, and enough time has past, and you see terrible traffic, this is were most people give up. At this point is really where you can get started because now you have the data to show what works and what does not. As you said, now you can 'pivot' and really make headway.

Moving laterally, then doing search analysis on that topic instead of just jumping into it is soooo smart! I have now set a goal to map out my blog and investigate going in a different direction. The food space is so saturated- I hope that I can find something that works 🤞🤞🤞

Starting to pivot now, but it was planned from the beginning. The website topic was intentionally picked to be broad enough to cover several topics that are still related to each other.

I know it's not free but you can always run some paid advertising on your potential topic ideas to see how many impressions you get and you can also see the search terms as well. I've done that full-time for the last 12 years and I would pass my findings on to our SEO team

Great to see how you are pivoting your site. Definitely seems that there is a lot more search volume for trademarks vs patents. Interesting that one of your biggest articles is one where people are mixing up patent and trademark.

Guys - fewer people need a patent or a copyright. Millions are seeking trademarks. The reason is Amazon - they require a registered trademark to register your brand. It’s a much bigger audience for you. Patent establishes you, so you’re right it’s good for brand.
