Kerala landslide: Drone footage shows rescuers searching for survivors in Wayanad

Drone footage filmed on July 31 shows soldiers and rescuers working through slush and rocks under steady rain. A day after people were killed in monsoon landslides, rescuers looking for survivors and searching for bodies in the hills. Nearly 1,000 people had been rescued from the hillside villages in Wayanad district. Authorities said that 225 were still missing. Heavy rain led to landslides in Kerala. It was the worst disaster in the state since deadly floods in 2018. Experts said heavy rain in the area in last two weeks had softened the soil, and extremely heavy rainfall triggered the landslides.

Waynad MP didn't raised a single waynad issues in last 5 years despite it is being the most fragile, landslide prone area. Elect a responsible MP not a high court convicted court.
