Coming from building Hondas and understanding the important of clearances on high revving engines- I applied the same knowledge to my EJ257 06 sti and haven’t had any mechanical issues at 170k miles with 20g turbo 410whp on stock pistons.

It’s all about your bearing clearances on these engines.

It's what makes a Subaru, a Subaru

You've been down on luck lol. I'm gonna watch the teardown vid if I can find it but if I had to guess it was a wrist pin come out?

Man I really like your content. Please, don’t be like everybody else and get so consumed in it that you beg for views with clickbait titles. It’s cringy bra

Bro I am not surprised the subaru broke. Out of the all vehicles I owned the Subaru engine was a absolute nightmare to add power and keep reliable. I owned a 2004 wrx(broke the transmission) and a 2006 STI one was bolt on's the STI was 450whp(lifted the heads pressuring the coolant system with a built engine). Those 2 instances are the only time I had a major mechanical failure. I've had stock ls3 motor up to 850whp until I sold the car.

brand new and the oil and antifreeze already need to be changed?, you are talking nonsense. the question is what did you even do with the engine if it's brand new, then you don't need new oil

Somebody doesn’t know how to put an engine together 😳

There is a fine line you have to walk when it comes to titles and thumbnails. As a new YouTuber I always find myself fighting my 2 half's. On one side you need views because that's what funds your expensive hobby...on the other side you need to be honest with your base. In a perfect world everyone would be honest and the thumbnails innocent..but we all know people will click this over "just put water in 6year old STi to make a joke". It's unfortunate...but it's the world.

Just don’t cheap out on parts and have your Subaru properly Dino tuned and you’ll be fine.
My 15 STI makes 400 wheel horsepower and 465 torque and I’ve been running it on that Dino tune for 40, 000 miles without a single hiccup.

Why are we acting like this whole channel isn’t built around building shit half assed in the first episode, then spending 10 more episodes fixing all the shit he hacked together in the first place. 💀 I give this dude credit for trying to do shit himself, but he has issues with everything he touches, not just Subarus.

Don’t blame Subaru for you being a dummy
